Headsons Roofing in short
Headsons Roofing is a long-running Wellington outfit claiming over thirty years of experience, serving Telford, Shrewsbury, Newport, Shifnal and Bridgnorth. That is the longest stated history in the ranked ten, though it stands on the firm's own word alone. Re-roofs, repairs, leadwork and guttering are its stated core, with phone and email contact published [1].
The record shows a Wellings Grove base in Wellington working across Telford, Shrewsbury, Newport, Shifnal and Bridgnorth. That five-town patch is among the wider ones in the ranked ten. Re-roofs, repairs, leadwork and guttering are the stated scope, and phone and email take bookings directly. No limited company record exists, so the firm trades on its name, history and published contact routes [2] [1].
Customers rate the firm at five stars on Google across seventeen reviews, a perfect rating on a growing base [3]. Seventeen reviews sit above the smallest files in the round without reaching the volume of the leaders. That suits a re-roof decision better than a handful of reviews would, though it remains a single-source file. In our judgement the record is the firm's standout feature.
What counts against it: no insurance details, guarantee terms or pricing statements are published, and no trade-body membership is claimed [1]. No limited company record exists either. This review rates the stated history as genuine colour and the missing paperwork as its weak point.
Our verdict
Our verdict: Headsons suits you if you want a long-running local roofer for a re-roof or repair around Telford and Shrewsbury [1] [3]. We rate the stated trading history and the perfect review rating as strengths because both are dated.

Questions about Headsons Roofing
Is Headsons Roofing any good?
Good for re-roofs and repairs: tenth of our ten Telford roofers with five stars on Google across seventeen reviews and thirty years claimed. Telford, Shrewsbury and three more towns are covered with phone and email bookings. Read the Google reviews for re-roof jobs, then ask for a written quotation on your scope.
Is Headsons on a trade register?
No trade scheme membership could be sourced from the registers, the firm's website or the checked platforms. That leaves the review file and the stated history as the checkable facts. Ask the firm what it holds and check the name on the scheme register yourself. Get the answer in writing with your written quotation.
How much does Headsons charge?
The site describes a quotation process but publishes no call-out fee, rates or VAT terms. Describe the job fully and agree the full price in writing before work starts. Ask for the figure to separate labour, materials and VAT, with scaffolding, waste and start-date positions stated alongside the written quotation.
Where does Headsons work?
The firm works from Wellings Grove in Wellington across Telford, Shrewsbury, Newport, Shifnal and Bridgnorth, with re-roofs, repairs, leadwork and guttering as its stated core. Phone and email take bookings directly. Send your postcode with the full job details to confirm you are fully covered before requesting a written quotation.
How is Headsons ranked?
It ranks tenth of the ten Telford roofers in our September round, the pick for re-roofs across Telford and Shrewsbury. Advanced sits ninth just above with two listings to its one. Read the full review and the score summary, then ask for a written quotation and confirm the insurance position together.
How do I get a quote from Headsons Roofing?
Contact the firm directly by phone or email with the re-roof or repair described and photos of the roof's current state. The site describes a quotation process rather than instant prices, so use the exchange to agree scope. Get the full figure in writing with labour, materials and VAT separated before work starts.
What do customers say about Headsons Roofing?
Customers give the firm five stars on Google across seventeen reviews, a perfect rating on a growing rather than tiny base. That is still a single-source file with no second platform to check it against. Read every review with re-roof jobs in mind, and weigh the thirty-year history claim alongside the rating.
How does Headsons compare with the other Telford roofers?
It closes the table on the thinnest paperwork in the ten: no cover, guarantee, prices or company record on the public file. Its stated history and seventeen-review perfect rating are what keep it ranked. In our judgement the history is its main asset and the missing paperwork its main gap.
