Best overall pest controller in Telford: experienced insured local firm for homes and farms

Telford · Service area: Telford, Shropshire
Sweetmeadow Pest Control in short
Sweetmeadow Pest Control is a Little Wenlock firm covering homes, farms and food suppliers around Telford, locally run for the best part of two decades. Its site names technician certificates alongside a fully insured service with a free quotation and round-the-clock cover, which is what sets it apart in this round. If you want one local firm for house and smallholding alike, Sweetmeadow Pest Control is built for exactly that. Same-day response sits behind the free quotation.
The working patch runs from Little Wenlock across Telford and Shropshire, town and country in one round. Named RSPH Level 2 and pesticide certificates give the insurance wording something to stand on. Seventeen years of local ownership sit behind the certificates.
Beyond its own site the public file is thin, a small unblemished set of ratings with no wider platform record. That thinness is the whole caveat on an otherwise strong local record.
Customer reviews are few but spotless across the board, and scheme membership is stated on the firm's own website. Our verdict: Sweetmeadow Pest Control suits you if you want an experienced insured local operator rather than a national call centre. What counts against it is thin public evidence beyond its own site: no prices appear anywhere and no company record matches the name, so its record rests on what it publishes about itself.
Our verdict
Our judgement: Sweetmeadow suits you if you want an experienced local firm covering homes, farms and food suppliers around Telford. The named technician certificates are a point in its favour. We rate the stated history a strength because 17 years is a serious record.

Questions about Sweetmeadow Pest Control
Is Sweetmeadow Pest Control any good?
On the evidence, yes for homes and farms: it tops our Telford pest controllers table, holds a five-star Google rating, and states full insurance with named technician certificates. The review base is small at five ratings, so read the full page and its sources. Send your pest and property detail for a free quotation.
Is Sweetmeadow Pest Control BPCA registered?
BPCA and NPTA membership is stated on the firm's own website, which also names technician certificates. Neither scheme number is printed there, so type the business name into each scheme online search and check the name that comes back. Get the membership detail in writing alongside your quote. The site also names technician certificates, which sit beside the scheme claims.
What does Sweetmeadow Pest Control charge?
It states a free quotation but publishes no rates, call-out fee or VAT terms. That means your quote does the talking: send the pest, the property and the access limits, and ask for an itemised fixed total. Confirm what the price covers before you agree anything. Send the access limits with the pest and property, since farms and outbuildings vary most.
Where does Sweetmeadow Pest Control work?
The firm works from Little Wenlock across Telford and Shropshire, covering domestic, farm and food-supplier jobs. Rural villages around the town sit inside its patch, and outlying farms are named on its site. Send your postcode with the enquiry to confirm you are covered. The patch runs Telford and Shropshire from Little Wenlock, taking in domestic, farm and food-supplier jobs.
How is Sweetmeadow Pest Control ranked?
It ranks first of the ten pest controllers in our September round, picked as the best overall choice for homes and farms on stated insurance, named certificates and long local record. Its review base is smaller than some runners-up, so read the customer record beside the company detail. Read the full review, then ask for the total price in writing.
How do I get a quote from Sweetmeadow Pest Control?
Send the pest, the property and the access limits for a free quotation by email or phone. No rates, call-out fee or VAT terms appear on the site, so ask for an itemised fixed total. Confirm what the price covers before you agree anything, and keep the reply with your records.
What do customers say about Sweetmeadow Pest Control?
The public record is a small but unblemished Google base, spotless without being deep. No wider platform record sits in the file, so stated cover and certificates do the persuading instead. Read the full page and its sources before you judge. Five ratings cannot prove consistency the way a deep base can.
How does Sweetmeadow Pest Control compare with the others in the round?
It tops the table as the best overall choice for homes and farms, ahead of Prokill on local range and the town-speed firms on stated cover. Its review base is smaller than some runners-up, which is the honest caveat. No prices anywhere is the other gap to close in writing.
