acute pestcontrol in short
acute pestcontrol is a Telford family firm stating a decade behind it and covering rodents, birds, insects, moles and fumigation work. Its site states technician training and close work with the environmental health team, plus a same-day response and a promise to match any like-for-like written quote. If you want a trained local team and like comparing quotes on equal terms, acute pestcontrol fits. Training detail goes beyond a logo: the site names RSPH Level 2 tuition through the BPCA, and quotes come free.
The firm works Telford town only, a single-town round rather than a county one. Paired with the matching promise and same-day response, that focus suits a household comparing two or three firms on identical terms. The brief runs wide, from rodents and moles to bird work and fumigation.
The customer file is steady rather than deep, consistent feedback with no wider platform record in the file. Enough to judge consistency, thin for judging much more.
Customer reviews run to a healthy volume with a near-perfect Google rating, a solid base for a family-run firm. Our verdict: acute pestcontrol suits households that want training credentials they can check and a fast visit. What counts against it is paperwork: no insurance detail is published, and a near-identical company name on the public register is dissolved.
Our verdict
Our judgement: Acute suits you if you want a local family firm whose technicians state recognised training and which promises same-day attendance. The quote-matching promise helps you compare on equal terms. We rate the stated training a strength because it matches the checks that matter for this trade.

Questions about acute pestcontrol
Is acute pestcontrol any good?
On the evidence, yes for Telford households: it sits fourth in our table, holds a near-perfect Google rating across a healthy base, and states technician training with a same-day response. No insurance detail is published, so read the full page and its sources. Send your pest for a free quote.
Is acute pestcontrol BPCA registered?
BPCA membership is stated on the firm's own website, which also describes close work with the environmental health team. No membership number is printed there, so type the business name into the scheme online search and check the name that comes back. Ask for the membership detail in writing. Keep the reply with your quote so the paper trail starts before anyone visits.
What does acute pestcontrol charge?
It offers a free quote and promises to match any like-for-like written quote, but states no rates or call-out fee. That means comparison is easy: collect one written quote, send it over, and ask for the matched total in writing. Confirm what the price covers before you agree anything.
Where does acute pestcontrol work?
The firm is based in Telford and serves homes across the town, from rodents to moles and fumigation jobs. Bird work and fumigation sit alongside the household core. Local work is its whole brief. Send your postcode with the enquiry to confirm you are covered. Cover is Telford town from a town base, so homes across the town sit inside the patch.
How is acute pestcontrol ranked?
It ranks fourth of the ten pest controllers in our September round, picked for stated training, same-day response and quote-matching. No insurance detail is published, so read the limitations beside the strengths. Read the full review, then ask for the matched quote in writing. The quote-matching promise is the practical edge at this position.
How do I get a quote from acute pestcontrol?
Use the free quote route and send one written quote from another firm alongside your pest and postcode, since the firm promises to match any like-for-like written quote. Ask for the matched total in writing with the visits, the method and the callback terms shown. Confirm what the price covers before you agree anything, and keep the reply with the comparison quote.
What do customers say about acute pestcontrol?
The public record is Google only: a near-perfect rating across a healthy base for a family-run firm, steady rather than review-heavy. No wider platform record sits in the file, so the feedback reads as consistent without being deep. Read the full review beside the strengths and limitations before you judge.
How does acute pestcontrol compare with the others in the round?
It sits fourth, behind Sweetmeadow on cover and certificates, Prokill on audited commercial paperwork and Telford Pest Control and Prevention Services on review volume. Its edge is the combination of stated training, same-day response and quote-matching, which none of its neighbours bundles the same way. Missing insurance detail is what holds it back.
