Hawk Security Alarms in short

Hawk Security Alarms is a Telford installer of intruder alarms and CCTV claiming more than 38 years in the trade, with service contracts and round-the-clock call-out [1]. Our view is that Hawk Security Alarms is the pick for burglar alarms from a familiar local name rather than for fire work.

Customer reviews are spotless, with full marks on Google from 20 reviews — the headline figure on this review — and the company record runs to 2015 [4] [2]. Google is the only review source held, and the company record is far shorter than the stated trading history. Our view is that the reviews back the service and the history claim rests on the firm’s own word.

The record shows a Telford installer working across Shropshire on intruder alarms and CCTV, with repair, maintenance, service contracts and round-the-clock call-out on offer [1] [3]. No fire-alarm offering and no scheme memberships appear anywhere on the site [1]. Contact runs through phone, email and form, with free no-obligation quotations and no published rates, so the quotation carries the full detail [1].

What counts against it here is the absence of any fire-alarm offering, accreditations or published insurance detail, with industry qualifications unable to be sourced [1]. Quotations are free, with no rates or VAT position published, and a directory listing confirms the Telford base [1] [3].

Questions about Hawk Security Alarms

Is Hawk Security Alarms any good?

On the evidence, yes for intruder alarms and CCTV: it sits ninth in our Telford fire alarm installer table, holds full marks on Google from 20 reviews, and claims more than 38 years around Shropshire with service contracts [4] [1]. It offers no fire alarms. Send your requirements for a free, no-obligation quotation.

Is Hawk Security Alarms registered with a trade scheme?

No: industry qualifications can’t be sourced from the registers, the website or the platforms checked [1]. The site claims no scheme membership. Ask what qualifications the attending engineer holds for fire or security work and get the answer in writing before work starts.

What does Hawk Security Alarms charge?

It publishes no rates or VAT position, while offering free, no-obligation quotations [1]. That means your quote does the talking: describe the job and ask for an itemised fixed quote. Confirm whether VAT sits on top before you agree anything.

Where does Hawk Security Alarms work?

The firm works from Telford across Shropshire, with a directory listing confirming the Telford base [1] [3]. It can be reached by phone, email and contact form [1]. Send your postcode with the job details to confirm you are covered.

How is Hawk Security Alarms ranked?

It ranks ninth of the ten fire alarm installers in our September round, carried by its customer record and long stated history against the absence of any fire offering. We looked first at what customers say. Read the full review, then ask for the itemised quote.

How do I get a quote from Hawk Security Alarms?

Call, email or use the contact form with the alarm or CCTV job details [1]. Quotations are free and without obligation, so describe the property and any existing system, then ask for the fixed quote itemised. Confirm whether VAT sits on top, since no rates or VAT position are published [1].

What do customers say about Hawk Security Alarms?

Google shows full marks from 20 reviews, seen in early September, with no other source held [4]. That is a spotless record of decent size for an intruder-alarm installer. Read the reviews for how service contracts and call-outs perform in practice, since those are what this firm sells beyond the install.

How does Hawk Security Alarms compare with the others in this round?

It sits ninth, the veteran intruder-alarm name in a fire-alarm table, placed on reviews and stated history with no fire offering to judge. Every firm above it either sells fitted fire systems or holds scheme credentials it lacks. Our view is that Hawk is the burglar-alarm pick pure and simple — shortlist it for security, never for detection.
