Archer Security in short
Archer Security is a Halesfield security firm whose fire-alarm page covers commercial design, installation, testing, maintenance and round-the-clock monitoring across Telford and Shrewsbury [2]. That dedicated page is what sets Archer Security apart in this round: most rivals sell security first and fire second. Our verdict is that it is the strongest commercial fire-alarm pick in the table.
Customer reviews back the position, with a 4.9 Google rating from 52 reviews — the headline figure on this review — and SSAIB certification stated on the firm’s own site, which also says the firm is insured [5] [1]. A round-the-clock phone line sits alongside email and a contact form [3]. Google is the only review source held for this firm, so the headline figure stands without another source to set it against. Our view is that a record of this size reads as genuine backing rather than thin praise.
The record shows a Halesfield firm working across Telford and Shrewsbury, with Shropshire in its stated service area [2]. Fire alarms sit alongside intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and gates on the site, with a round-the-clock phone line next to email and a contact form [1] [3]. Quotes are free and without obligation, so the written quote is where the scope and price appear [3].
The company record runs back to 2018, which supports the trading-history score [4]. What counts against Archer Security is thin pricing detail and a commercial-only framing, so domestic buyers will find less here for them [3] [2].
Our verdict
Our view: Archer suits you if you need a commercial fire-alarm system around Telford or Shrewsbury from a firm whose installers are stated as SSAIB certificated [2] [3]. Its 4.9 Google rating from 52 reviews and a company record back to 2018 support it [5] [4]. What counts against it is thin pricing detail and a commercial-only framing [3] [2].

Questions about Archer Security
Is Archer Security any good?
On the evidence, yes for commercial work: it tops our Telford fire alarm installer table, holds 4.9 on Google from 52 reviews, and runs a dedicated commercial fire-alarm page with stated SSAIB certification [5] [2]. The offer is framed as commercial-only with thin pricing detail. Send your building details through the contact form for a free, no-obligation quote.
Is Archer Security SSAIB registered?
SSAIB certification is stated on the firm’s homepage, fire-alarms page and contact page [1] [2] [3]. That is the firm’s own statement rather than a register entry we opened, so ask for the certificate details and check them against the scheme directory. Get the registration position confirmed in writing before work starts.
What does Archer Security charge?
It publishes no call-out fee, rates or VAT position; quotes are free and without obligation [3]. That means your quote does the talking: send the full building scope and ask for an itemised fixed quote. Confirm whether VAT sits on top before you agree anything.
Where does Archer Security work?
How is Archer Security ranked?
It ranks first of the ten fire alarm installers in our September round, chosen as the best overall pick for commercial systems with stated SSAIB certification. We looked first at customer evidence, then qualifications and the company record. Read the full review, then ask for the itemised quote.
How do I get a quote from Archer Security?
Use the contact form or email with the building scope, or call the round-the-clock phone line [3]. Quotes are free and without obligation, so describe the building, the current system and the cover you want, then ask for the scope itemised with labour, materials and VAT shown separately. Send the postcode with the enquiry to confirm the stated Telford and Shrewsbury service area covers you [2].
What do customers say about Archer Security?
The held record is Google alone: 4.9 from 52 reviews, seen in early September, which is the widest customer base in this round [5]. That is a broad base for a commercial installer, though it remains a single source rather than several. Read a spread of the reviews themselves for how the firm handles snagging and aftercare, since stars alone say little about either.
How does Archer Security compare with the others in this round?
It is the only firm here pairing a dedicated commercial fire-alarm page with stated SSAIB certification, which is why it tops the table [2] [1]. Phoenix and SSAFE rival it on customer records but sell security rather than fire detection, while Premier and A B C match it on fire credentials with cooler reviews behind them. No rival combines its fire-alarm depth with as wide a review base.
