DeterTech UK in short
DeterTech is a managed site-security outfit with a Telford branch at Pioneer Park, aimed at construction, retail, rail and vacant property rather than homes. The offer is detection, video surveillance and forensic marking with monitoring behind it, ordered through a quote request and demonstration. In our judgement it is the commercial-site pick for managers who want a watched perimeter rather than a one-off alarm fit.
Customer reviews are decent on Google across a fair base, while the single Trustpilot review on record scores far lower. The company record stretches back decades. What counts against DeterTech is the absence of published prices and insurance detail, plus that thin wider review trail.
The record shows a managed site-security outfit working from Pioneer Park at Halesfield, selling detection, video surveillance and forensic marking with monitoring behind it to construction, retail, rail and vacant-property managers. Enquiries run through a quote request with a demonstration offered, which suits a site manager buying a watched perimeter rather than a box on the wall.
Customer evidence pulls two ways: a decent Google score across a fair base against a far weaker single review on the second platform. With so little on the second site we read that lone score as a caution rather than a verdict, and the demonstration matters more than either figure for judging the offer. The company record, going back decades, steadies a file that customer evidence on both sites would leave thin.
Our verdict
Our judgement: DeterTech suits you if you run a construction or commercial site and want managed detection and monitoring rather than a one-off alarm fit, backed by a company record going back to 1993 [1] [3]. What counts against it is the thin public review base beyond Google and the absence of published prices and insurance details [1] [4].

Questions about DeterTech UK
Is DeterTech UK any good?
On the evidence, yes for commercial sites: it offers managed detection, video surveillance and monitoring for construction and vacant property from its Telford branch. The wider review trail is thin, so weigh the demonstration. Ask for the monitoring terms and response plan in writing. Read the quote as carefully as the stars, since missing paperwork is where this round's gaps usually sit.
Is DeterTech UK SSAIB registered?
SSAIB certification and SIA Approved status are stated on the firm's own website. Ask for the certificate details and check them on the SSAIB search and the SIA register to confirm the name matches. Get the confirmation before you sign anything. Take the number from the firm itself, since a logo alone proves nothing.
How much does DeterTech UK charge?
It publishes no call-out fee, hourly rate or VAT terms, routing enquiries through a quote request with a free demonstration offer. That means your quote does the talking. Ask for install, monitoring and response charges shown separately, and include your site dates. Fix the VAT position in the same exchange, since published guide prices normally exclude it.
Where does DeterTech UK work?
The firm serves construction and commercial sites from its Telford branch at Pioneer Park. Site security across sectors is its brief. Send your site location to confirm cover, including the programme, access hours and monitoring needs. Include your start date. Out-of-patch jobs can still be quoted, but expect the travel to show in the price.
How is DeterTech UK ranked?
It ranks fifth of the ten in our September round, picked for construction and commercial sites needing monitored security. Customer reviews, qualifications and how open a firm is about itself all go into the score. Read the full review, then book the demonstration today. The order refreshes with each new round, so check the card dates before treating it as current.
What do customers say about DeterTech UK?
Google reviewers are broadly positive across a fair base, while the single review on the second platform scores far lower. One review cannot carry much, so treat it as a prompt to probe rather than a verdict. Book the demonstration and judge the monitoring room and response plan in person.
How does DeterTech UK compare with the others in this round?
It sits mid-table as the commercial-site pick, a monitored alternative to Business Watch guards. ABC answers the fire-system brief for institutions, while none of the domestic alarm names competes for this work. DeterTech stands apart on detection and forensic marking, which is a different purchase from an alarm fit. Shortlist by brief first and rank second, since the table rewards different jobs.
