Glyn Upton Removals in short

Glyn Upton is a removals firm at Cluddley in Telford listing packing and unpacking among domestic, commercial, international and piano removals with storage. The site claims ninety years of moving experience with National Guild of Removers certification, and runs offices in Telford, Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton. That long family-name story is what sets Glyn Upton apart. The three-office setup gives you a choice of contact points, though every quote still starts with a phone call.

The record shows removals with packing folded in: domestic, commercial, international and piano moves with packing, unpacking, de-cluttering, transport and storage. Three offices across Telford, Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton give a choice of contact points, and every quote starts with a phone call. The site claims ninety years of moving experience with National Guild of Removers certification.

The customer evidence is solid rather than spectacular: Google shows 4.5 from 83 reviews. The mark trails the leaders without falling away, which fits a long-trading firm with a steady local base. Nothing in the held sources contradicts the reviews, though the phone-only quotes leave less of a paper trail to judge.

Customer reviews are solid, with a good Google score across a large base. No insurance statement is published and quotes come by phone with no rates on the page, which counts against it. Our verdict: Glyn Upton suits you if you want packing folded inside a full removal.

Questions about Glyn Upton Removals

Is Glyn Upton Removals any good?

On the evidence, yes for full removals: it ranks sixth in our Telford packing table, holds a good Google score across a large base, and folds packing and unpacking into domestic, commercial and international moves. Insurance goes unstated, so read the full page and its sources. Ring for a phone quote and ask for the cover note too.

Is Glyn Upton in a removals trade scheme?

National Guild of Removers certification is listed on its own website, though no certificate number is printed to check. Ask for the certification details and check them yourself. Get the confirmation alongside your written quote, and keep it with the fixed price.

How much does Glyn Upton charge?

It publishes no rates: quotes come by phone with affordable pricing stated, and no VAT terms appear on the page. That means your call does the talking, so describe every room and ask for the fixed price with labour, materials and VAT shown separately. Confirm what the price covers before you agree anything.

Where does Glyn Upton work?

From Cluddley in Telford it runs offices in Telford, Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton, covering local, national and international moves. Most Telford homes sit inside its patch. Send your postcode with both addresses to confirm cover and ask for the quote call.

How is Glyn Upton ranked?

It ranks sixth of the ten packing firms in our September round, picked for packing folded inside full removals from a long-standing name. Read its review record beside the company record. Read the full review, then ask for the fixed phone quote.

How do I get a quote from Glyn Upton?

By phone to any of the three offices, with the Telford number first in the list. Quotes are described as affordable with no rates on the page, so describe every room on the call. Ask for the fixed price with labour, materials and VAT shown separately, and get it confirmed afterwards.

What do customers say about Glyn Upton?

Google is the held source, showing 4.5 from 83 reviews. That is a steady mid-table record: lower than the leaders, higher than a firm living on a handful of voices. No adverse record appears in the held sources. Read the reviews beside the company record before ringing for the quote.

How does Glyn Upton compare with the others in the round?

It ranks sixth as the heritage pick: the longest trading story of any mover here, with packing folded inside full removals. Wrekin above it answers with published liability terms and free surveys; Jo Upton below shares the family-name feel with weaker paperwork. The gaps are insurance silence and phone-only pricing. Match it to a full removal rather than a boxes-only job.
