AH Locktech in short
AH Locktech is a Hadley-based locksmith covering homes and cars across Telford and nearby towns, with round-the-clock call-outs at its core. What stands out is the clarity of the emergency promise: a stated response aim of under an hour with no call-out charges on its site. Our verdict: a useful number to store for lockouts, with stated response times behind a large body of reviews.
Customer reviews are strong for the volume, at five stars from one hundred and fifty-seven Google reviews spanning car keys, fobs and home lockouts. Against that, the limited company is young on the public record, so the decade-plus of experience on the AH Locktech site reads as personal background, and no rates, VAT position or insurance details are published.
The offer covers homes and cars from a Hadley base: round-the-clock call-outs for lockouts, domestic lock work and auto keys with cutting and programming, reaching Telford plus Shrewsbury, Newport, Bridgnorth, Whitchurch, Stafford and Wolverhampton. The emergency promise is the clearest in the round, with a stated response aim of under an hour and no call-out charges on the site. That clarity is what makes it the number to store.
Across the held sources the customer record shows breadth as well as score, spanning car keys, fobs and home lockouts rather than one lucky job type. The held evidence speaks to recent performance, though the young company record means the decade-plus experience reads as personal background.
Our verdict
Our judgement: a useful number to store for lockouts, with a stated response time and no call-out charge behind a large body of reviews. The business itself is young on the public record.

Questions about AH Locktech
Is AH Locktech any good?
On the evidence, yes for emergencies: it ranks third of the ten Telford locksmiths, holds five stars from one hundred and fifty-seven Google reviews, and states a response aim of under an hour. The company itself is young, so weigh the reviews against the short company record. Save the number before you need it.
Is AH Locktech MLA registered?
No qualification, scheme membership or checkable accreditation is claimed on the AH Locktech site, and none is required by law. Industry qualifications therefore can't be sourced. Ask the firm directly what credentials sit behind the work. Get the answer alongside the quote. Get the answer in writing alongside the quote.
What does AH Locktech charge?
The site clearly states no call-out charges and no hidden fees, but publishes no rates or VAT position. That makes the phone quote the price. Ask for the full figure, including parts and any after-hours uplift, and get it confirmed by text before they set off. Night call-outs need the uplift agreed upfront.
Where does AH Locktech work?
From Hadley it covers Telford plus Shrewsbury, Newport, Bridgnorth, Whitchurch, Stafford and Wolverhampton. Domestic, auto and commercial work are all listed. Send your postcode with the job details to confirm you are covered. Round-the-clock call-outs come with a stated response aim of under an hour. Give the car make and model with the postcode.
How is AH Locktech ranked?
It ranks third of the ten locksmiths in our September round, picked for day-or-night lockouts across Telford. Review volume and a clear emergency promise carry it, while thin company history holds it back. Read the full review, then ask for the quote. The full review sets out the evidence behind the place.
How do I get a quote from AH Locktech?
The site clearly states no call-out charges and no hidden fees, but publishes no rates or VAT position, so the phone quote is the price. Describe the door or the car make and model, and ask for the full figure with parts and any after-hours uplift included. Get it confirmed by text before they set off, especially for night call-outs.
What do customers say about AH Locktech?
Customers rate the firm at five stars from a triple-figure count of Google reviews, covering car keys, fobs and home lockouts across Telford and nearby towns. The themes are emergency responsiveness and successful roadside work rather than planned upgrades. Weigh that breadth against the short company record before deciding. Keep the number with your house papers.
How does AH Locktech compare with the others in the round?
It ranks third, behind two door specialists, as the round's emergency pick for day-or-night lockouts across Telford. Its review volume sits just below the round's largest, but the young company record and unpublished rates hold it back from the top two. For lost car keys specifically, the dedicated auto firms below it offer deeper specialism.
