Ace Window and Door Fixer in short
Ace Window and Door Fixer is a Telford repair firm fixing window and door locks, hinges, handles and multipoint mechanisms, plus misted glass units, with a booking route for a service visit. What sets Ace apart in our review is the repair-first pitch backed by long stated hands-on experience, working across Telford, Shrewsbury and Shropshire with nearby towns beyond. It suits faulty locks that need a part, not a new door.
Customer reviews are spotless, with a headline Google rating of five stars drawn from more than thirty reviews. What counts against it for this ranking is scope: locks and glazing rather than electronic access control, with no prices or insurance detail published. Our verdict is that it suits residents with a faulty lock who want it repaired.
The record shows a Telford repair firm working across Shrewsbury and the wider county with towns beyond, fixing locks, hinges, handles and multipoint mechanisms plus misted glass units. Booking runs through a service visit rather than a quote form, which fits repair work priced at the door. Our reading is that the repair-first pitch is honest about what the firm is.
The customer evidence is a solid bank of Google reviews, perfect across more than thirty of them, which is strong going for a repair outfit. No second platform sits in the file. Our take is that the reviews back the workmanship while the scope question, locks rather than systems, stands apart from them.
Our verdict
Our judgement: Ace suits Telford residents with a faulty window or door lock who want the part repaired rather than the whole unit replaced [1]. The Google record stands at 5.0 from 37 reviews [2]. What counts against it for this ranking is scope: locks and glazing, not fitted access control, with no prices or insurance details published [1].

Questions about Ace Window and Door Fixer
Is Ace Window and Door Fixer any good?
On the evidence, yes for lock and window repairs: it sits ninth in our Telford access control table, holds five stars on Google from more than thirty reviews, and sets out its repair services plainly. Fitted access control is outside its scope, so read the full review. Book a service visit for a repair quote.
Is Ace Window and Door Fixer registered with a trade scheme?
No trade accreditation is named on the website, and none can be sourced from the registers or the platforms checked. Ask whether the firm holds any scheme membership and for the insurance papers together. Confirm both in writing before work starts. The full position, with what each badge covers, sits in the qualifications section of the review.
How much does Ace Window and Door Fixer charge?
It publishes no prices, rates, call-out fee or VAT position, offering a booking route for a service visit instead. That means the visit does the talking: describe the faulty lock and ask for the finished total. Confirm what the price covers before work starts. Only a written quote on your door list settles the figure.
Where does Ace Window and Door Fixer work?
The firm works across Telford, Shrewsbury and Shropshire with Stourbridge and Redditch also named. Send your postcode with the lock details to confirm you are covered. Expect contact through the website booking route, sending photos of the faulty lock if you can. Coverage shifts with workload, so confirmation in the reply matters more than any map.
How is Ace Window and Door Fixer ranked?
It ranks ninth of the ten access control installers in our September round, picked for window and door lock repairs without full replacement. Read the full review alongside the evidence on the page. Then book the service visit for your repair quote. Positions move when new evidence lands, so read the round date beside the table.
How do I get a quote from Ace Window and Door Fixer?
Book a service visit through the website route with the lock type, photos of the fault and your postcode. Expect the finished figure at the door once the mechanism is seen, so ask what the visit itself costs if the part cannot be saved. A misted unit or a dropped door is worth photographing before you ring.
What do customers say about Ace Window and Door Fixer?
Google shows a perfect headline rating across more than thirty reviews, a strong file for a repair outfit. Repair jobs prompt grateful reviews when the fix saves a replacement. Read the lock-specific comments to check your mechanism appears among them. Skim the recent entries for jobs matching yours before ringing.
How does Ace compare with the others?
It sits ninth as the repair pick, which puts it beside LockFit rather than the installers. LockFit answers lock-outs at any hour; Ace answers faulty mechanisms by booked service visit. Where the brief is a coded lock or a camera, the firms above are the real comparison. The page sets the evidence out fully so the fit is easy to judge.
