Advance Telford review

Best for: Successor firm for windows, doors and conservatories

Advance Telford in short

Advance Telford is now a pointer rather than a place: its web address leads to Astoria Windows, formed when that firm acquired the Advance Windows business, and our review treats the successor as the subject. Astoria supplies and fits windows, doors and conservatories with FENSA registration on the register and a stated ten-year insurance-backed guarantee. If a registered installer with showrooms appeals, this is that option wearing a new name.

The record now points to Astoria Windows, supplying and fitting windows, doors and conservatories with showrooms in Shrewsbury and Hereford, reached by phone, email and quote, contact and service-request forms. The named patch covers Telford, Shrewsbury, Hereford and Wolverhampton. The Telford base itself is unclear, since the old Gower Street address and phone no longer appear on the current site.

Customer reviews sit at four stars on Google under the old Advance name, the softest headline in this round, with no second platform on file. This review reads that record as history belonging to the previous business. As history rather than current form, the verdict treats that record with care.

What counts against Advance Telford is the unclear Telford presence and missing company and pricing detail. Our verdict is that it suits Shropshire buyers who want FENSA registration and showroom backing and accept a successor firm with a thin Telford footprint.

Questions about Advance Telford

Is Advance Telford any good?

With care: the Advance Telford listing now points to Astoria Windows, a successor firm with FENSA registration on the register and a stated ten-year insurance-backed guarantee. The Google record sits at four stars under the old Advance name. Read the full review to see which business you would actually be hiring. Read the full review for the strengths and limitations behind that headline.

Is Advance Telford FENSA registered?

The successor's registration is. Astoria Windows is listed on the FENSA register, and its site states FENSA-registered installer status, which covers the windows, doors and conservatories it fits. Ask which legal entity your contract and guarantee would sit with, and check the name on the register. What the registers returned on the evidence date is shown on the review page.

How much does Advance Telford charge?

Clear, professional quotations with no hard sell are promised, but no call-out fee, rates or VAT terms are published. That means your quote does the talking: list every window and ask for an itemised fixed figure. Confirm the VAT position and the guarantee terms before you agree anything. Price the same scope with a second firm so the two figures stay comparable.

Where does Advance Telford work?

It names Telford, Shrewsbury, Hereford and Wolverhampton, though the current site shows Shrewsbury and Hereford showroom bases rather than the old Telford address. Confirm where your fitter and surveyor would travel from. Send your postcode with the window list to check you are covered. Address and contact detail sit in the review page header.

How is Advance Telford ranked?

It ranks seventh of the nine window fitters in our September round, assessed as the successor firm standing behind the Advance name. Its customer evidence belongs to the previous business. Read the full review, then ask for the itemised quote. The trade page carries the full ranking and its sources.

How do I get a quote from Advance Telford?

Use the phone, email or the quote, contact and service-request forms on the successor site to describe each window and its fault. Clear, professional quotations with no hard sell are promised. Ask which legal entity your contract and guarantee would sit with, and confirm the VAT position. Compare the itemised figure against one rival quote on the same scope.

What do Advance Telford's reviews say?

They say history, not current form: four stars on Google under the old Advance name, the softest headline in the round, with no second platform on file. This review reads that record as belonging to the previous business. Read the reviews knowing you would hire the successor, and judge its paperwork on its own terms.

How does Advance Telford compare with the other Telford window fitters?

It ranks seventh of the nine, assessed as the successor firm behind the Advance name. The firms above it offer clearer Telford footprints, while the glass counters below do different jobs. Nothing else in the round wears a new name over an old listing. Pick it if a FENSA-registered successor with showrooms matters more to you than a thin Telford presence.
