The customer record is split across two Google listings — one under each trading name — averaging near top marks between them. The split reflects the two trading names, with the combined review base larger than either listing alone.
Our verdict

Is MP Electrical & Renewables any good?
On the evidence, yes for combined jobs: a Hadley business with directory-listed MCS certification, over a decade of stated trading and seventy-three Google reviews near five out of five. No insurance detail or prices are published. Send the full solar, battery and charger scope through the short quote form. The short quote form is the fastest route in.
Is MP Electrical & Renewables MCS certified?
MCS certification under number NAP-68547 is listed for Shropshire Renewables Limited at the firm's Hadley address in the MCS directory. The firm's own website trades under the Shropshire Renewables name without printing the number. Ask for the certificate number and match it on the MCS finder before you sign. The directory listing sits behind the firm's Hadley address.
What does MP Electrical & Renewables charge?
No installation prices are published; a short quote form covers domestic and commercial solar, battery storage, car chargers and electrical work. That form does the talking, so fill it in fully. Ask for an itemised fixed quote with the VAT position before you agree anything. Fill the form in fully so the reply can price the whole job at once.

The firm works from Oakworth Close in Hadley, Telford, and its site names no service towns beyond its home patch. Hadley and Telford postcodes are its heartland. If you sit further out, send your postcode with the enquiry to confirm you are covered. Out-of-area enquiries should still send the postcode, since cover may stretch further.
How is MP Electrical & Renewables ranked?
It ranks fourth of the six solar installers in our September round, our pick for a combined solar, battery and charger install from one local contractor. We looked first at what customers say in the scoring, then qualifications. Read the full review with its sources, then ask for the itemised quote. The full review prints every score, rating and sourced qualification behind the position.
How do I get a quote from MP Electrical & Renewables?
Fill in the short quote form on the Shropshire Renewables website with the full scope — panels, battery, charger and any electrical work — since no installation prices are published. What do customers say about MP Electrical & Renewables?
Two Google listings — one per trading name — total seventy-three reviews averaging near five out of five. That combined weight sits mid-table in this round: stronger than the thin bases below, shallower than the leaders. Read both listings, since jobs may sit under either name. Either name may appear on the quote, so match it to the listing you read.
How does MP Electrical & Renewables compare with the others in the round?
It sits fourth of the six, our pick for a combined solar, battery and charger install from one local contractor. Above it stand two deeper-reviewed battery specialists and an electrical firm with wider Midlands cover; below it, a longer-trading commercial firm and a small specialist with thinner records. Its ground is the single-contractor combined job in Hadley and the surrounding town.
