Hornet Roofing in short
Hornet Roofing is a family-owned Telford roofing contractor listing roof cleaning alongside installations, repairs, re-pointing, leadwork and Velux windows, with emergency call-outs around the clock. NVQ roofing qualifications and manufacturer approvals appear on the firm's own site. The firm trades without a limited company behind the name. Installations, repairs, re-pointing, leadwork and Velux windows round out a full roofer offer.
Customer reviews form the softest review record in this round. Our judgement is that Hornet suits cleaning from roofers who can fix what they find on the way. Prices, trading history and insurance detail cannot be checked, which counts against it. Quotation requests run by phone, form and email, and the site carries testimonials with contact routes.
The record shows a full roofer offer behind the cleaning: installs, repairs, re-pointing, leadwork and Velux windows, backed by emergency call-outs around the clock. NVQ roofing qualifications with manufacturer approvals appear on the firm's own site. The firm works from Medlar Close across Telford, Shrewsbury, Newport, Bridgnorth, Ironbridge, Much Wenlock and Market Drayton, with quotation requests by phone, form and email.
The customer evidence is the softest in the round: 4.5 from 25 Google reviews, the lowest average in the table. A small record means one unhappy customer moves the average more than it would elsewhere. Our judgement is that the reviews, not the qualifications, are what hold this firm back.

Our judgement: Hornet suits you if you want cleaning from roofers who can also fix what they find, with NVQ qualifications on the record [1]. The Google record stands at 4.5 from 25 reviews [2]. Prices, trading history and insurance details stay unpublished [1].

Questions about Hornet Roofing
Is Hornet Roofing any good?
On the evidence, it is a fair pick where cleaning may turn into repairs: it sits seventh in our roof cleaning table with NVQ qualifications and manufacturer approvals on its site, but holds the round's softest review record at 4.5 from 25 Google reviews. Request a quotation describing the roof and ask for cover and price in writing.
Is Hornet Roofing NVQ registered?
NVQ Level 2-3 roofing qualifications with Sarnafil, Rhenofol, Rubberseal and Firestone approvals are listed on the firm's own website. No register listing sits behind the claim, and no mandatory registration applies to this trade. Ask for the qualification evidence and the current insurance position in writing before work starts. Keep the qualification evidence with your quote.
How much does Hornet Roofing charge?
It publishes no prices, free-quote statement or VAT position. Quotation requests are invited by phone, form and email. Describe the roof, the moss and any suspected repairs, then ask for an itemised fixed quote stating the method, the cover and the VAT position. Ask for the method, the cover and the VAT position as separate lines.

What do customers say about Hornet Roofing?
Customers give 4.5 from 25 Google reviews, the softest average in the round. A small record moves easily, so one unhappy customer matters more here than elsewhere. Read the words behind the stars on the ratings table, and ask the firm about cover and history when you request a quotation.
How does Hornet compare with the others in the round?
It sits seventh of the ten, between Dryfix's deeper review record and Aquaswift's window round.
