Midshire Surveyors in short
Midshire Surveyors is a Telford practice offering three levels of home survey with an instant quote calculator and a published VAT-inclusive fee menu. Our review finds the clearest pricing in this round sitting next to the thinnest paper trail. An active limited company sits behind the name. Our view of the business is that of a keen new entrant, notable for price transparency while the credentials still need to catch up.
The service menu centres on home surveys at three levels, with condition-rating guidance and an instant quote calculator on the site. The coverage statement names eleven towns across Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands, with Telford at the centre. Phone, email and weekday-plus-Saturday hours back the area claim and make the firm easy to reach.
The company dates only from spring 2026. No Google reviews exist and no insurance details are published. The site names eleven coverage towns with phone, email and weekday-plus-Saturday hours. Midshire Surveyors is easy to contact and hard to verify. The customer record is therefore a blank sheet: the held sources carry no review platform at all, so no rating can be quoted and no pattern reported.
What keeps the firm out of the table is the register: the website describes an RICS regulated firm, but no listing appears on the RICS Find a Surveyor register. Until that description and the register agree, the firm sits outside the assessed set in this review. Set against the assessed firms serving live jobs from the ranked table, this page records a price-transparent practice waiting on its paperwork rather than a like-for-like rival.
Our verdict
Our judgement: Midshire suits you if published VAT-inclusive fees from £250 and an instant quote route matter most [1]. The paper trail is thin: the company dates from April 2026, no reviews exist, and the RICS regulated-firm claim has no register listing behind it [2] [3].

Questions about Midshire Surveyors
Is Midshire Surveyors any good?
The pricing impresses and the rest is unproven: an instant quote calculator with VAT-inclusive fees, but no reviews, no insurance detail and a company dating from spring 2026. Our review cannot place it until the register question below is settled. It suits price-led shoppers only. Anyone tempted by the fee menu should read the register answer below first, since that gap is what keeps the firm out of the table.
Is Midshire Surveyors RICS registered?
Not on the evidence held. The website describes an RICS regulated firm, but no listing for Midshire Surveyors appears on the RICS Find a Surveyor register. A claimed registration with nothing behind it fails our checks. The register search itself is the proof here. The public register search takes moments to repeat, and a future listing would change this answer.
What does Midshire Surveyors charge?
This is the firm's strong suit: a published fee menu with VAT-inclusive prices from £250, plus an instant quote calculator. No other firm in this round publishes a menu. The menu itself is the figure to compare against rival quotes. The menu quotes VAT-inclusive fees across the survey levels, and the calculator turns the menu into a written figure for your own job.
Where does Midshire Surveyors work?
Eleven coverage towns across Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands are named on the site, with Telford at the centre. Phone, email and stated hours back the area claim. Midshire Surveyors suits buyers inside that patch who confirm the register position first. The town list runs from Telford into Shrewsbury, Stafford, Wolverhampton and beyond, so out-of-town buyers are covered on paper.
How is Midshire Surveyors ranked?
It is not in the ranked table: the unmatched regulated-firm description fails the registration check every assessed firm passes. Published fees cannot offset that gap. Fresh detail, including any new register listing, can arrive through the Claim a listing route. The page stays published so anyone searching the name finds the reason rather than a dead end.
How do I get a quote from Midshire Surveyors?
Through the instant quote calculator on the firm's website, which sits alongside the published VAT-inclusive fee menu. That pairing stands alone in this round: no other firm publishes a menu to set the calculator against. The written reply is the figure to set against equivalent quotes from the assessed firms for the same job.
What do the reviews say about Midshire Surveyors?
Nothing is on record either way: no reviews appear on any platform in the sources behind this review, so there is no rating to quote and no pattern of praise or complaint to report. A blank customer record is normal for a company of this age, but it leaves the fee menu and the register question doing all the talking. Time and traded jobs are what fill this gap.
How does Midshire Surveyors compare with the ranked firms?
Its pricing clarity is the strongest in the round, since no ranked firm publishes a fee menu. On everything else it trails: the ranked firms bring live trading records and fuller evidence files. Our review treats Midshire Surveyors as one to watch rather than one to appoint today, until the register and the reviews catch up.
