LMDS Architectural Ltd in short
LMDS Architectural is a Wellington design practice specialising in home extensions, loft conversions and new builds, staying involved from first sketch to planning submission and site management. The limited company has been active since two thousand and ten. No industry qualifications could be sourced from the registers, the website or the platforms checked.
From Wellington the practice takes work across Telford and much of Shropshire, including Shrewsbury, Newport, Market Drayton and Bridgnorth. Extensions, loft conversions and new builds make up the offer, with the practice staying involved from first sketch to planning submission and site management. The published opening hours run across weekday daytime, with the practice closed at weekends.
The customer record is flawless as far as it goes: five stars on Google from thirty-two ratings, the only review source on record. That is one of the deeper single-source records in the round. LMDS Architectural publishes telephone and mobile numbers, an enquiry form and opening hours.
Our view: this practice suits anyone who needs drawings and planning support before approaching builders. What counts against LMDS Architectural is that design is the whole offer here, with no construction service and no published pricing. The build itself would sit with a separate contractor. No other firm in this round offers drawings without building, which makes the practice a complement to the builders rather than a rival of them.
Our verdict
Our judgement: this practice suits you if you want drawings and planning support for an extension or loft conversion from a long-established local designer [1] [2]. What counts against it is that design is the whole offer here, with no building service and no published pricing [1].

Questions about LMDS Architectural Ltd
Is LMDS Architectural Ltd any good?
On the evidence, yes for design work: seventh in our Telford table, with a flawless Google record and a practice centred on extensions and loft conversions. It designs rather than builds, so read the full page and its sources. Use the enquiry form to describe your project. Read the full review before shortlisting.
Is LMDS Architectural Ltd a member of a trade scheme?
No trade-scheme membership could be sourced from the registers, the practice website or the platforms checked. That is recorded as insufficient evidence rather than a failing. Ask the practice directly which professional bodies it belongs to, when each membership renews, and get the answer in writing. Ask for qualifications and insurance together with the design fee.
What does LMDS Architectural Ltd charge?
Nothing is published: no prices, rates, call-out terms or VAT position appear on the site. Describe the design scope fully and ask for the fixed fee in writing. Confirm what the fee covers, from sketch to submission, before you agree anything. Include the submission and any site visits in that fee.
Where does LMDS Architectural Ltd work?
The Wellington practice serves Telford and much of Shropshire, including Shrewsbury, Newport, Market Drayton and Bridgnorth, on extensions, loft conversions and new builds. Telephone and mobile numbers plus opening hours are published. Send your postcode with a sketch of the idea to confirm cover. A sketch of the idea speeds the first reply.
How is LMDS Architectural Ltd ranked?
It ranks seventh of the ten extension builders in our September round, the pick for extension and loft-conversion drawings and planning. We looked first at customer evidence, then qualifications and the rest. Read the full review, then ask for the fixed design fee. The September round covers ten extension builders in total.
How do I get a quote from LMDS Architectural Ltd?
Through the enquiry form or the published telephone and mobile numbers, with a sketch of the idea and your postcode to hand. Nothing is published on fees, so the written figure carries the whole decision. Describe the design scope fully and ask for the fixed fee in writing with its inclusions.
What do customers say about LMDS Architectural Ltd?
Customers rate it at full marks on the one held source: five stars on Google from thirty-two ratings, seen in September 2026. That volume beats all but three rivals in the round. The practice's flawless headline comes with no second source, so read the full review before enquiring about your project.
How does LMDS Architectural Ltd compare with the others in this round?
It sits seventh of the ten, the round's only design practice. MSR sits above on building, Salop below on joinery. For drawings and permission it stands alone, while every other firm here sells building, supply or landscaping. Its flawless Google record tops the middle of the table on customer evidence.
