Long Mynd Drainage in short
Long Mynd Drainage appears as a Telford drainage listing with a live mobile contact, but the name exists only in that listing. The same address and phone trade publicly as Severn Drainage Solutions, whose site describes unblocking, camera surveys, no-dig lining, installations, septic maintenance and emergency call-outs with stated up-front pricing. Whether the two names are one trader is unsourced, so this review cannot recommend the Long Mynd name.
The Long Mynd record itself carries no service list of its own: there is no website under the name, and the stated patch is Telford alone from its Bratton Road address. All the service detail on file — unblocking, camera work, no-dig lining, installations, septic maintenance and emergency call-outs — sits under the Severn name at the same address and phone. In our view that leaves the Long Mynd name with nothing to assess beyond the listing itself.
There is no customer record to judge: no reviews, no company record, no insurance detail and no prices exist under the Long Mynd name. Each gap is recorded as insufficient evidence rather than a failing. The linked Severn site is the only substantive record attached to the address. Across the review sources held for this round there is no rating under this name, so customers offer nothing to set against the listing.
In our view Long Mynd Drainage stays a flag rather than a recommendation: the phone and address are live but the identity is not settled. It stays outside the ranked table until the link between the names is confirmed.
Our verdict
Our verdict: do not book under the Long Mynd name until the link to Severn Drainage Solutions is confirmed [1][2]. We keep this record because the phone and address are live, not because identity is settled [2].
Score summary

Questions about Long Mynd Drainage
Is Long Mynd Drainage any good?
There is no way to tell under this name: it sits outside our September table with no reviews on record and an unconfirmed identity. The linked Severn site describes a credible local offer, but the link between the names is unsourced. In our view the live phone and address are not enough to recommend it. Treat the name as unproven until the operator confirms it through the Claim a listing route.
Is Long Mynd Drainage registered with a trade scheme?
Nothing is claimed under this name, so industry qualifications cannot be sourced and no membership appears on the record. The Severn site is a separate name and cannot lend its claims to this one. Ask whoever answers for the legal trading name first, then which scheme if any recognises that exact name. Get the trading name and any membership in writing before you go further.
What does Long Mynd Drainage charge?
No prices are published under this name, so there is no figure to quote from the record. The Severn site states up-front pricing, but that belongs to the other name and cannot be borrowed here. Agree whose prices you are getting, and the full figure for attendance, clearance and any survey, before anyone attends. Describe the symptoms and the postcode when you call so the figure matches the job.
Where does Long Mynd Drainage work?
The listing gives a Telford address with a live mobile number, and Telford is the only area on the record. No wider service area is published under this name. Call with your postcode and confirm the trading name in the same call, since the same contact details trade publicly under another name. Note who answers and which business name they give.
How is Long Mynd Drainage ranked?
It is not ranked: identity could not be confirmed, so it sits outside the September table of eight. That single gap is the whole reason, and the operator can settle it through the Claim a listing route. Until then, choose from the ranked firms above, each with a confirmed record behind its card. Revisit this name only once the two names are reconciled.
How do I get a quote from Long Mynd Drainage?
Call the live mobile on the listing and confirm the trading name first, since the quote must come from the business that will attend. Describe the symptoms, the property and the postcode, and hold out for a full written figure under that name. The Severn site states up-front pricing, but that belongs to the other name. Agree attendance, clearance and any survey as separate lines before the van moves.
What do the reviews say about Long Mynd Drainage?
Nothing: no reviews exist under this name on any source held for the round, so there is no rating to report. That silence is a gap in the record rather than a verdict on the work. The only substantive material at the same address and phone is the Severn site, which is a separate name. For customer evidence, read the review books on the ranked cards above and compare jobs like yours.
How does Long Mynd Drainage compare with the ranked firms?
It cannot be compared on quality: the eight ranked firms each carry a confirmed identity with a published service list and customer evidence behind the card. Long Mynd offers a live phone and address but no confirmed identity and no record under its own name. The difference is evidence, not skill or price. Pick from the ranked table until the operator settles the link between the names.
