Shines of Shropshire in short
Shines of Shropshire is a Donnington family firm pairing home, commercial and end-of-tenancy cleaning with gardening and small repairs. The phones are answered round the clock, seven days a week, with two numbers, an email and a contact form published, and cover runs across Telford and Shropshire. Our verdict: the handiest pick in this round for cleaning with odd jobs on the side. The Donnington base keeps call-outs local.
Customer reviews hold five stars across nine Google ratings, a small but spotless set. Shines of Shropshire describes itself as fully insured yet publishes no trading history, no prices and no company record. What counts against it is checkability, not warmth. Our verdict on balance: availability carries this firm further than its paperwork does.
Home, commercial and end-of-tenancy cleaning share the book with gardening and small repairs, all run from Donnington across Telford and Shropshire [1]. Two phone numbers, an email and a contact form stay answered round the clock [1]. Few firms in this round bundle odd jobs with cleaning, which is where this family outfit stands apart.
The customer set is small, a single handful of Google ratings with nothing elsewhere to test them against. Warmth is evident; breadth is not. More reviews would do this firm more good than any other change it could make. The phones are answered; the record should catch up.
Our verdict
Our judgement: Shines suits you if you want one local firm for home cleaning with gardening and small repairs on the side, reachable at any hour [1]. The insured status and direct contact routes read well. What counts against it is paperwork: no trading history, prices or company record are on the public record.

Questions about Shines of Shropshire
Is Shines of Shropshire any good?
For cleaning with repairs on the side, yes on reviews: fifth in our Telford table, with five stars across nine Google ratings, round-the-clock contact and insured status stated [2] [1]. No trading history, prices or company record are published. Read the full review, then ask for the cover note in writing.
Is Shines of Shropshire registered with a cleaning trade scheme?
No. Industry qualifications can't be sourced from the registers, the website or the platforms checked. Ask the firm directly what training its cleaners hold and get the answer in writing. Say what the job needs in full before you agree anything. Repairs beside cleaning need competence in both, so probe each separately.
What does Shines of Shropshire charge?
Where does Shines of Shropshire work?
The firm works from Donnington across Telford and Shropshire, running round the clock [1] [2]. Home cleans with gardening or small repairs suit that patch. Send your postcode with the full job list to confirm you are covered before you agree anything. Night and weekend visits should be confirmed as standard, not favours.
How is Shines of Shropshire ranked?
It ranks fifth of the ten domestic cleaners in our September round, as the round-the-clock pick for home cleaning with small repairs. Reviews and contact detail carried it there. Read the full review and its sources, then ask for the written quote. Contact detail and warmth carried this firm past quieter rivals.
What do customers say about Shines of Shropshire?
Nine Google ratings hold five stars, a spotless but small set with nothing on any second platform [2]. Few reviews means each one matters more, so read them all beside the quote. Availability round the clock is the firm's louder claim; the reviews have yet to prove it at volume. Time and more customers will fill the gap.
How does Shines of Shropshire compare with the other firms in this round?
It sits fifth of ten as the round-the-clock pick, the only firm pairing cleaning with gardening and small repairs. Managed firms above it bring deeper infrastructure; contract cleaners below it bring supervision. Anyone wanting odd jobs folded into the clean will find no closer match in the table. Odd jobs folded into the clean remain unmatched elsewhere in this table.
