Rabart Canine / Smart Groom review

Ranked 5 of 10 in Dog groomers in Telford

Best for: grooming salon beside a trade counter

Unit 12, Trench Lock 3, Telford, Shropshire, TF1 5ST · Service area: Telford

Rabart Canine / Smart Groom in short

Rabart Canine with Smart Groom is a Trench Lock business pairing a grooming salon with a trade counter selling to the show circuit, trading for two decades. Our review finds that double act the standout: advice comes from people who supply professional groomers, and the contact page publishes address, phones, email and weekday hours. The sister Smart Groom listing adds hydrotherapy with Saturday opening.

Customer reviews sit below the table average, at 4.6 from forty-six Google reviews, the only public review platform we hold, read alongside the business website and directory listings. What counts against Rabart Canine is focus: no salon prices or insurance details are published, and the site is a product shop first with grooming attached. It suits owners who buy into the trade-counter expertise.

The record shows a Trench Lock unit doing double duty: a grooming salon beside a trade counter selling products to the show circuit, with hydrotherapy under the Smart Groom name at the same address. The contact page publishes the address, phone numbers, an email and weekday hours, and the business dates itself to two decades of trading. The recorded service area is Telford, and the site is a product shop first.

The long trading history and published contact routes give the name ballast that newer salons cannot claim. What the sources do not add is a second review platform or any salon price list, so grooming reads as the adjunct and the shop as the main event. It suits owners who value the counter's expertise over the salon's brochure.

Our verdict

Our judgement: Rabart suits you if you want grooming advice from people who also sell to the show circuit, with a trade counter attached [3]. The 2005 dating and published contact routes give it weight [2] [3]. The gaps are unpublished salon prices and cover, and a site built for shopping rather than booking.

On the evidence, yes for owners who value trade expertise: it sits fifth in our table, holds 4.6 from 46 Google reviews, and pairs the salon with a show-circuit trade counter and two decades behind the name. Salon prices and cover are unpublished. Read the full review, then ask what the groom costs.

Is Rabart Canine registered with a grooming scheme?

No. Industry qualifications can't be sourced for Rabart Canine from the registers, website or platforms checked, and no mandatory grooming register exists to check against. Ask who grooms, what they hold, and to see the certificate. Get the answer alongside the written price.

What does Rabart Canine charge for grooming?

How does Rabart Canine compare with the others in this round?

It sits fifth as the trade-expertise pick: no rival pairs a salon with a show-circuit counter and two decades behind the name. The four above it bring stronger reviews or clearer credentials, while the Donnington salon below brings a priced treatment menu. Choose it for advice rooted in the trade counter rather than for published prices.
