APH Windows Ltd in short

APH Windows Ltd is a Telford maker and fitter of windows, doors, conservatories and orangeries, building frames in its own Halesfield factory and fitting them with its own craftsmen. The firm states FENSA registration and HomePro membership on its own pages, with an insurance-backed guarantee on every installation, and the limited company behind it has been active since 2002. Our verdict: it is the most complete conservatory outfit in this round.

Customer reviews are strong, with a headline rating of 4.9 from 147 Google reviews, the deepest review base among the firms we scored. The Halesfield showroom opens six days a week, with phone, email and a message form as contact routes.

What counts against APH Windows is the absence of published prices, which leaves the quote to set expectations, and stated registrations with no checked numbers on the issuing registers. Neither gap is unusual in this trade.

The service list runs wider than conservatories alone, taking in windows, doors and orangeries alongside building work, with a gallery of finished jobs on the site. The firm serves Telford and the wider county from its Halesfield factory, and that maker setup is the reason it leads this round: one local business designs, builds and fits the whole job. On customer evidence, the round holds a single dated public source: the Google listing behind the headline figure, which draws on more reviews than any other firm scored here. The firm's own pages add seasonal offers and contact routes rather than customer accounts, so the showroom visit and the itemised quote do the rest of the talking.

Our verdict

Our judgement: APH Windows suits you if you want a long-established Telford maker that builds your frames in-house and backs them with stated FENSA paperwork and an insurance-backed guarantee [1] [2]. The company record runs back to 2002 [4]. What counts against it is the absence of published prices, which leaves the quote to set expectations [1].

Questions about APH Windows Ltd

Is APH Windows Ltd any good?

On the evidence, yes for a full conservatory build: it tops our Telford ranking, makes frames in its own Halesfield factory, states FENSA registration with an insurance-backed guarantee on every installation, and holds a headline 4.9 from 147 Google reviews. The review base is the deepest in this round. Send your plans by phone, email or message form for a quote. [1] [2] [5]

Is APH Windows Ltd FENSA registered?

FENSA registration number 16299 is stated on the firm's own news page, alongside HomePro membership 14958 and an insurance-backed guarantee on every installation [2]. Both are stated on the firm's own pages rather than sourced from the issuing registers, so ask for the certificate documents with your quote. Check the registration yourself on the FENSA website before work starts.

What does APH Windows Ltd charge?

It publishes no prices, call-out fee, hourly rate or VAT position, with seasonal offers and contact routes the only pricing signals [1] [3]. That means your quote does the talking: send the full brief and ask for an itemised fixed quote. Confirm what the price covers, including the guarantee documents, before you agree anything.

Where does APH Windows Ltd work?

It works from its Halesfield factory and showroom across Telford and Shropshire, opening the showroom six days a week. Phone, email and a message form give three direct contact routes. Send your postcode with your plans to confirm coverage and arrange a visit. Expect showroom staff to handle the quoting.

How is APH Windows Ltd ranked?

It ranks first of the five conservatory firms in our September round, chosen as the best overall pick for a complete design, build and certify service from one maker. It leads on evidence across reviews, qualifications and history rather than on any single factor. Read the full review, then ask for the itemised quote.

How do I get a quote from APH Windows Ltd?

Call the Halesfield showroom, send an email or use the message form on the contact page, all three routes going straight to showroom staff [3]. Send your plans, measurements and photos with your postcode so the visit or the reply can be specific. Ask for the quote itemised across frames, roof, base work and extras, with the FENSA certificate and the insurance-backed guarantee documents named. Keep every version until the paperwork is complete.

What do APH Windows Ltd reviews say?

The public picture is a single dated Google snapshot showing a headline 4.9 from 147 reviews, the largest review count in this round [5]. That breadth matters: a high score held across many reviewers is harder to dismiss than the same score from a handful. The firm's own site carries no customer testimonials, only seasonal offers and contact detail, so the showroom visit and the written quote carry the rest of the judgement.

How does APH Windows Ltd compare with the others in this round?

It sits first of the five firms in our September round, level on points with R&S Windows and clear of the three specialists below. The gap is about completeness: APH Windows makes, fits and certifies whole conservatories, while Ace repairs, Wholesale Glass reglazes and Solarite re-roofs. R&S Windows is the closest alternative for buyers who prefer a Madeley showroom to a Halesfield factory.
