Severnside Roofing & Building Specialists in short
Severnside Roofing & Building Specialists is a family-run roofing firm working across Telford and Shrewsbury from its Stafford Park base. Our judgement: it is the best documented roofer in this round, with a Confederation of Roofing Contractors listing on the register, stated insurance cover and written guarantees of up to 25 years. If your job involves the roof, this is the shortlist to start from. The record shows roofing across Telford and Shrewsbury from the Stafford Park base, with flat roofing and chimney repairs alongside general roofing on its trade listings. The site backs that with service pages, contact routes, customer comments and its own questions page.
Customers rate the firm highly: 5.0 from 20 Google reviews, backed by detailed recent comments published on its own site. That double base of independent reviews and on-site comments is rare in this round. In our view it is the firm's strongest card.
Across the held sources the customer evidence points one way: the headline is 5.0 from 20 Google reviews, echoed by detailed recent comments published on the firm’s own site. That double base of independent ratings and on-site comments is unusual in this round, though the review count is smaller than some rivals manage.
What counts against it is pricing: free quotes are stated but no rates or fees are published, so the total comes from the quote. In our view the guarantee terms matter as much as the total.
Our verdict
Our judgement: the review score, the confirmed trade-body listing and the written insurance and guarantee statements make this a solid shortlist choice for roofing [1][2][4]. It suits you if you need repairs, a re-roof or a flat roof in Telford or Shrewsbury.

Questions about Severnside Roofing & Building Specialists
Is Severnside Roofing & Building Specialists any good?
On the evidence, yes for roofing: it leads our Telford builders table, holds top Google marks, and pairs a register-checked trade-body listing with stated insurance and long guarantees. No rates are published, so read the full review and its sources. Ask for a free written quote for your roof. Read the comments behind the headline before you decide.
Is Severnside Roofing & Building Specialists registered with a trade scheme?
Yes. The Confederation of Roofing Contractors lists the firm as member 7667 on its register, with matching address and phone numbers. NFRC membership is stated on the firm's own website rather than the NFRC directory. Ask for the membership details with the insurance papers. Get both in writing before work starts.
What does Severnside Roofing & Building Specialists charge?
It states free quotes but publishes no rates or fees, so the site alone cannot tell you what a repair or re-roof costs. The site does state guarantees of up to 25 years on roof systems. Send photos and your address for a quote. Get the total in writing before you agree anything.
Where does Severnside Roofing & Building Specialists work?

How is Severnside Roofing & Building Specialists ranked?
It ranks first of the ten builders in our September round, chosen as the best overall builder for its reviews, register-checked listing, stated cover and written guarantees. Its review base is smaller than some rivals, so read the comments on both sites. Read the full review, then ask for the itemised quote.
How does Severnside Roofing & Building Specialists compare with the other builders in this round?
On roofing evidence it stands alone in this round; on extensions and energy work the firms below it carry stronger cards. Its headline reviews match the best in the round on score, though several rivals show larger bases. No rival documents roofing cover and guarantees as fully, while the extension and energy firms suit bigger structural jobs better.
