Telford Plumbers in short

Telford Plumbers is a Telford plumbing and bathroom business at Danescourt on Church Street, matching an active limited company. Its website lists general plumbing, emergency call-outs, leak detection and shower and bathroom work. The site itemises leak detection with trace and access and shower work in depth, backed by a claim of long experience with water leaks. For leaks and bathroom jobs from a local specialist, Telford Plumbers fits the brief.

Customers rate the firm perfectly on Google, and this review notes the clear plumbing content behind that score. That score comes from a single platform, with no second profile to set beside it, so the picture is clean but narrow. What keeps it out of the boiler table is boiler evidence: no boiler service and no Gas Safe position appear on any page opened.

Even so, Telford Plumbers suits plumbing, leaks and bathroom work, where its record is strong. It stays off a boiler shortlist unless the firm supplies boiler credentials directly for the next round. Our view is a credible water-side outfit whose record stops at the water's edge.

The address on the record is Danescourt on Church Street, and the service area runs across Telford and its surrounding towns, from Wellington and Shifnal to Ironbridge, Madeley and Newport. Contact runs through a published phone number and email address with emergency call-outs offered. For leaks and bathroom work inside that patch, the firm reads as the local water specialist.

Our verdict

Telford Plumbers looks credible for plumbing and leak work, but the evidence does not support it as a boiler installer: no boiler service and no Gas Safe position appear anywhere opened [1][6]. In our judgement, keep it off a boiler shortlist unless the firm supplies boiler credentials directly.

Score summary

We researched this provider but have not scored it, because it did not meet one of our eligibility requirements.

G3 · No Gas Safe registration is claimed on the website's pages, and the public register check on 3 September 2026 confirmed nothing because the check tool would not run — there is no basis to confirm entitlement to do gas work [1][6].

Industry qualifications

Sourced from the issuing registers, the business's own website and platforms such as Checkatrade and Which? Trusted Traders, on the date shown.

Strengths

  • The website lists general plumbing, 24/7 emergency call-outs, leak detection with trace and access, and shower and bathroom work, and states over 14 years of experience with water leaks [1][2].

  • It publishes phone number 07500 237699, an email address and the Danescourt, Church Street address with a contact route [1].

  • Companies House shows TELFORD PLUMBERS LTD, 16670785, active since 26 August 2025 at the same address [4]. The Google entry records 57 reviews at 5.0, seen 3 September 2026 [8].

Limitations

  • No boiler installation, servicing or Gas Safe statement appears on the pages opened, so boiler competence has no supporting evidence in this file [1][2][3].

  • The limited company is under one year old, so the 14-year statement reads as individual experience rather than firm trading history [2][4].

  • Insurance is described only in general terms, with no amount, and no pricing, call-out fee or VAT position is shown [1][2][3].

Questions about Telford Plumbers

Is Telford Plumbers any good?

Credible for plumbing: a perfect Google rating backs clear leak, plumbing and bathroom content with a matching company record. The leak pages go into trace and access in depth, which is the firm's clearest specialism. It is no pick for boiler work of any kind. Call with your plumbing job to start, and keep the quoted figure in writing.

Is Telford Plumbers Gas Safe registered?

No Gas Safe registration is claimed on the website's pages, so boiler competence has no supporting evidence. That rules it out for gas work as it stands. A maker accreditation on the site concerns boilers made, not gas fitness, so hold it apart from the register question. Ask for boiler credentials directly if relevant. Check anything supplied on the register.

What does Telford Plumbers charge?

No pricing, fees, quotes or VAT position appears on the pages opened. The phone call therefore sets the price. Describe the job fully when you call. Have photos and your postcode ready. Ask for parts and labour as separate lines. Agree the figure in writing before anyone starts, and keep the written figure with your records.

How is Telford Plumbers ranked?

It is not in the boiler table: the pages show plumbing and bathroom work but no boiler service and no Gas Safe position. Plumbing reviews cannot carry a boiler ranking. Read the full review, and book it for water rather than gas. The review above separates the water-side record from the boiler question.

Where does Telford Plumbers work?

From its Danescourt base on Church Street it serves Telford and a ring of surrounding towns, including Wellington, Shifnal, Ironbridge, Madeley, Newport and Much Wenlock. That patch covers much of the borough and its near neighbours. Send your postcode with the job details so the reply confirms cover. Keep that confirmation with your written quote.

What do reviews say about Telford Plumbers?

Reviewers give the firm the top mark on Google, praising leak tracing, plumbing and bathroom work from a local specialist. No second review platform sits in the record, so the praise is unanimous but single-sourced. Read the Google profile itself, and set its water-side focus against whatever job you have in mind.

How do I get a quote from Telford Plumbers?

Call the published number or use the email address, describing the leak or bathroom job with photos and your postcode. Mention access quirks such as tight loft hatches or boxed-in pipework so the first reply is accurate. Ask for the figure with parts and labour shown separately. Keep every reply in writing before anything is agreed.

How does Telford Plumbers compare with the ranked firms?

The six ranked firms all show boiler services with stated Gas Safe positions, while Telford Plumbers shows plumbing, leak and bathroom work with no boiler content at all. Its customer record would not look out of place in the table; its trade focus keeps it out. For water-side jobs it stands on its own record; for boiler work it does not enter the comparison.
